Our staff & volunteers
Our Trail Ahead Volunteer Team is dedicated to teaching kids in the program rider safety, trail conditions and how to maintenance the machines. Our staff consists of approximately 10 volunteers on a constant bases.
Our history
Based in Carroll County, Arkansas, Trail Ahead Project was created in 2021 to make a positive change in the lives of kids through adventure-based learning. Not only does our staff work hard every day to provide these volunteer services to our kids but so do our service dogs!

Our mission
Trail Ahead Project is a gateway to a better future - for youth who participate in our programs and for the natural environments in which they recreate. Our vision is to empower youth with the skills and values necessary to become leaders and engaged citizens in their communities and in the world, by leveraging the power of outdoor education and UTV riding. Because environmental stewardship is woven into the fabric of our programming and curriculum, we are also raising a generation that will be rooted in the conscious caretaking of natural environments.
